Booking and practical information

The campsite is located 40 minutes west of the A7 motorway (Autoroute du Soleil), via the Montélimar Sud motorway exit (the Montélimar Nord exit is not recommended, as caravans and motor homes are temporarily banned from driving through Le Teil).
The campsite is 500 m from the RN 102 linking Le Puy-en-Velay and Montélimar.

A small number of our chalets are connected to a TV aerial. Depending on our possibilities, we can place you in an equipped chalet. However, television is not provided (except in rural gîtes).

Our clientele is mainly foreign. In July and August, we mainly welcome families with children up to the age of 14. In the low season, we welcome all types of clientele (groups, couples, etc.).

We welcome your friends' dogs, with up-to-date vaccination records and not in categories 1 and 2, in Pitches and Chalets (€2 to €5 / night). Only one dog is allowed and must be kept on a lead. Cats are not accepted.

Only gas and electric barbecues are permitted. Charcoal barbecues are prohibited (prefectural decree).

The Gîtes overlook the campsite, just a few minutes' walk from the main facilities. Our Gîtes guests have access to all the services offered at the campsite. Swimming areas require the constant supervision of an adult.

A deposit of €250 is required on arrival (by card, cheque or cash). The deposit covers the condition of the chalet and its equipment. It will be returned on the day of your departure after you have checked in.

What languages are spoken at the campsite ?

Our team welcomes you in French, English, German, Dutch and Spanish.

What methods of payment are accepted ?

We accept payment by bank card, cash, cheque and holiday vouchers.

Do rental properties have air conditioning ?

For energy reasons, none of our chalets have air conditioning. Our chalets are well insulated, so they are comfortable in all seasons.
You'll find a shaded terrace in front of your Chalet, as well as towards the swimming areas.

Can I book a specific pitch or chalet ?

We take into account your preferences and needs regarding the characteristics of the pitches. However, for planning reasons, you cannot claim a precise number. Your final number will be given to you on arrival. Thank you for your confidence in the choices we make for you.

Do I have to bring my own sheets and towels ?

Sheets and towels are not included in our rentals. You can hire a towel kit ( €7.50 ), a double bed kit ( €16.50) and a cot kit ( €13 ).
Sheets are provided for a minimum 7-night stay at Lakota Camp.

We have French and European electricity points. Remember to bring a universal camping adapter and a substantial extension lead.

Activities

In July and August, sports and arts and crafts activities are organised during the day for children aged 6 to 12. We organise one concert a week and several shows throughout the season. Our campsite is designed to be relaxing and family-friendly, with activities ending at 11pm at the latest.

Children under 6 require special attention. During the activities, our activity leaders need to be equally present for all the children. It is possible to accompany your child, with the agreement of the activity leaders.

Shops and tourism

There is a grocery shop in the village of Saint-Jean-le-Centenier. An Intermarché, a Netto, a pharmacy and small shops such as an organic supermarket can all be found in Villeneuve-de-Berg (5 minutes' drive).

The Claduègne is classified as a 1st category river for trout fishing. A permit is required and can be purchased nearby.

- Come and taste the local wine in the village of Alba-la-Romaine (8 km).

Hiking trails start from the campsite or nearby. The first cycle paths are a 20 m. drive from the campsite. Canoeing on the Ardèche is possible from the village of Voguë, 15km away.

In the southern Ardèche, the summer climate is hot and dry, of the Mediterranean type. Average temperatures are : April: 12°, May: 20°, June: 25°, July: 27°, August: 26°, September: 19°. Even in summer, it's a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket, as the weather can turn stormy in the evening. On clear days, nights can be cool (10/12°C). We have no particular problems with mosquitoes in our area.

Services at the campsite

The campsite has a restaurant and snack bar, a water park, leisure and sports areas, washing machines, a double charging point for electric cars and emptying facilities for motorhomes.

Yes, access for people with reduced mobility is possible. For specific information, please call reception before your arrival on 04.75.36.75.19.

Throughout the season, you can pick up your fresh baguette in the morning from 8am to 10am at the bar. We ask you to place your order in the restaurant by 7pm at the latest.

Yes, you can receive visitors on the campsite. The fee per visitor is €3.50 per day. Visitors do not have access to the swimming pool or the lake (for insurance/legal reasons).

We have a water park with a heated swimming pool, a paddling pool, a slide and a jacuzzi. A river runs through the campsite, and we use a dam to create a "natural swimming pool" measuring around 1,200m² and 1.70m deep at its deepest point.

The natural swimming pool in the river is open in July and August. Weather permitting, the pool is open from June until the end of September.

We have a restaurant open from May to September, and a snack bar open for lunch and dinner in July and August. We also offer takeaway sales.

The pools are open from 10am to 8pm throughout the season. We adapt the opening of the pool area according to the weather.

We offer free WIFI for 30 minutes every 6 hours in the restaurant. WIFI is available for a fee, allowing you to be connected from your pitch. Various packages are available, ranging from €7 to €39.

Yes, a recharging point for electric cars is available at the entrance to the campsite (charge according to consumption).

National regulations require swimwear to be worn close to the body for reasons of hygiene.
